The development model is based on an exclusive ecosystem to meet current needs and future requirements.

For the practical manifestation of the concept, a pilot project of Mekran Smart City is being developed on 3300 Acres of land in Turbat, District Kech, Balochistan, encompassing SEZ, Housing Complexes, Business Hubs, Smart Agri Farms and Allied Civic Infrastructure.

The project is aimed to build first hinterland to supplement efforts to activate Gwadar Port for large scale economic activities.
